MY 6-STEP, NIGHTTIME SKINCARE ROUTINE THAT WORKS
I don’t know about you girls, but my skin struggles in the summer. Aside from the fact that sunscreen can been greasy and pore-clogging, I spend a lot of nights too tired -or tipsy- to take my makeup off (the ultimate sin). After breaking out this week, I was over it and am getting really strict about my nighttime skincare routine again - here’s my magic potion for clear, smooth, glowing skin.
FIRST, I GET CLEAN:
I LOVE makeup wipes, I think they’re easy to travel with, use and really get every ounce of makeup off. There are some wipes that have made my skin sting or get red, so these are the ones that I’ve used and that are gentle enough to use on your eyes, lips, etc.
SECOND, I GET SQUEAKY CLEAN:
I wash my face with a gentle cleanser at night and in the morning – these are a few of my favorites and just a warm washcloth goes a long way.
THIRD, I (SOMETIMES) USE A MASK:
I don’t know about you, but sitting with a mask on my face for 30 minutes is kind of torture. So about 3-4 times a week, I trust these easy on-off masks to get the job done.
FOURTH, I TONE:
I think toner is totally underrated – it cleanses and balances your skin, plus it feels so refreshing – here are some of my favs.
FIFTH, I SLAP A SERUM ON:
Everyone loves a good serum and I’m no exception. I love to put mine on and then jade roll it onto my skin, that way the serum sinks deeper into your pores and the facial massage gets rid of bloat.
